Nominaciones al Oscar 2018: ‘The Shape of Water’ encabeza la lista

Esta mañana, Tiffany Haddish y Andy Serkis junto con el presidente de la Academia, John Bailey, revelaron las nominaciones para los 90 Premios de la Academia en vivo desde el Teatro Samuel Goldwyn. Después de los Golden Globes y los Screen Actors Guild Awards, la escena para los nominados de este año es bastante clara. Sin embargo, la Academia es conocida por las sorpresas y puede haber algunos desaires importantes.

 

La gala de este año se realizará el 4 de marzo de 2018 en el Dolby Theatre de Hollywood, California, y será presentada por Jimmy Kimmel.

 

 

La película de Guillermo del Toro, ‘The Shape of Water’ ha sido todo un éxito desde su estreno, llevándose 13 nominaciones al Oscar. Por su parte, el director mexicano está encantado por las nominaciones obtenidas y muy agradecido por el inmenso apoyo e interés que han tenido para con él, su trabajo y su carrera:

“Es un gran honor y una gran alegría el estar aquí con una película que es fiel a mis convicciones y a las imágenes que amo desde la infancia. Agradezco a la academia y a mis colegas de profesión su amable disposición hacia “La Forma del Agua” . Comparto estas nominaciones con todos los jóvenes cineastas en México y Latinoamérica que tienen sus esperanzas puestas en el quehacer cinematográfico y en la historia íntima de su imaginación.“
