Miniserie basada en ★ de David Bowie será estrenada en línea

Una serie de videos de Instagram basada en el álbum final del ícono y aprobada por él mismo, será estrenada esta semana.

David Bowie falleció el 10 de enero después de perder una batalla de 18 meses contra el cáncer. Dos días antes de su partida, se estrenó su último álbum de estudio, ★, pero antes de eso, él ya había permitido a InstaMiniSeries que produjera 16 episodios de Unbound: A ★ InstaMiniSeries.

Esto fue los que dijeron los creadores: “Bowie le abrió las puertas a Carolyn Cecilia y Nikki Borges y les brindó acceso avanzado y desmedido a la música y las imágenes de ★, dejando que crearan sus propias interpretaciones visuales de las canciones, sin límites ni pre condicionamientos de su parte”.

Agregan que su trabajo “está motorizado por un enfoque en la interpretación visual, en lugar de una narrativa literal y lineal. Estamos agradecidos por haber tenido esta oportunidad de participar, y honrados por que nos confió la interpretación de su arte.”

David Bowie siempre fue más acerca de reinvención en lugar de repetición y aquí tenemos una prueba más al respecto. La serie se estrenará el 25 de febrero a las 8pm EST, 7pm hora Ciudad de México. Habrá un episodio nuevo cada lunes, martes, jueves y viernes.
