Inician celebraciones del centenario de Frank Sinatra

El próximo 21 de abril se celebrará el centenario del nacimiento de Frank Sinatra con la publicación de “Ultimate Sinatra”, colección en CD, digital, vinilo y también habrá una Box Set Deluxe con cuatro CDs que contiene 101 canciones, un cupón para la descarga digital de un EP con cuatro canciones inéditas más, y un booklet de 80 páginas con un nuevo ensayo de Charles Pignone, con fotos raras y notas de Frank Sinatra y sus hijos, Nancy, Tina y Frank Jr., así como de Nelson Riddle, Billy May, Quincy Jones y otros.

El lanzamiento incluirá las canciones más emblemáticas de la carrera de Sinatra grabadas en los sellos Columbia, Capitol y Reprise. Todas la ediciones, tanto en CD como en digital, contendrán grabaciones inéditas y, además, el Box Set de cuatro CDS y los dos vinilos contienen temas extras a través de descarga digital.

Pero este no será el único tributo que reciba la voz. El icónico Lincoln Center de Nueva York y concretamente la New York Public Library for the Performing Arts en colaboración con el Grammy Museum presentan la exposición: “Sinatra: An American Idol”.

La exhibición explora la vida y carrera del mítico artista con fotos privadas y nunca antes vistas, premios y otros objetos de interés, además de su música y participación en cintas.

Por otro lado la empresa Jack Daniel’s rendirá homenaje con una botella especial llamada “Sinatra Select”.
