Billboard Music Awards 2018: Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar y ‘Despacito’ triunfan

Ayer se llevó a cabo la ceremonia de los Billboard Music Awards 2018, en la cual se premiaron a los artistas más destacados del último año. La gala se desarrolló dentro del MGM Grand Garden Arena de Las Vegas, Nevada.
Contrario a los American Music Awards y a los Grammys, en donde se determina al ganador por votación, los finalistas de los Billboard se seleccionan por su rendimiento comercial dentro de los Estados Unidos.
Los grandes ganadores
El cantautor británico de Ed Sheeran dominó a la premiación con seis galardones, incluyendo el de el Artista del Año, Mejor Artista Masculino y Mejor Artista del Top 100.
Otros que sobresalieron fueron Kendrick Lamar, rapero de Compton que se llevó los trofeos al Top Album 200, Mejor Álbum de Rap por DAMN. (2017) y Mejor Artista de Rap. Por otro lado, Luis Fonsi y Daddy Yankee se llevaron cuatro trofeos gracias a su éxito ‘Despacito’.
