Parece ser que Noel Gallagher ha tenido problemas de salud desde el 2013, así lo declaró en una entrevista para el medio “The Telegraph”.
“I went for my annual health check-up. And honest to God I felt all right when I went in, and the doctor made me feel like I was about to drop dead in the street when I came out… I won’t go into it,” he continued, refusing to give specifics about one particular condition, but I [also] got Tinnitus in my ear, and I pulled two muscles in the back of my hand. Not from playing guitar… Then I went on holiday with the kids. And I was getting out of a swimming pool with one of them in my hand and did my back in. Then my doctor put me on these tablets – I won’t tell you what for – [and] told me that if I didn’t take them I would virtually drop dead… However, come off the medication: I was taking them for months and they made me feel awful. So I quit taking them and I feel great again.”
(Fui por mi chequeo anual. Y honestamente me sentía bien cuando fui, el doctor me hizo sentir como si fuera a caer muerto en la calle cuando saliera de ahí… No voy a entrar en detalles, continuó, negándose a dar especificaciones sobre una condición en particular, también tengo Tinnitus en mi oído, y me jalé dos músculos en la parte de atrás de mi mano. No fue por tocar guitarra… Después me fui de vacaciones con mis hijos. Y estaba saliendo de la piscina con uno de ellos en mi mano y me lastimé. Fui al doctor y me recetó unas tabletas- no te voy a decir para que son-solo me dijo que si las dejaba podría morir… Sin embargo, saliendo de la medicación: estuve tomando las pastillas por meses pero me sentía horrible. Así que decidí dejar de tomarlas, sintiéndome muy bien).
Estamos preparados para la llegada de su segundo álbum “Chasing Yesterday” que saldrá a la venta en 2 de marzo.
Noel estará visitando nuevamente México con High Flying Birds el 25 de marzo en el Teatro Metropólitan.
