Here some quotes and highlight moments:

“I look at social media stats, when booking artists.” –Manuel Moran (Live Nation).

Artists: when pitching to Live Nation, provide websites, youtube links and everything you can, for opening act opportunities!!

When pitching to Amy Davidman (The Windish Agency), keep the mail short and sweet. No cold calls accepted and if the band has a website, even better.

“You have to believe in your music, in your band, so you can communicate that. Otherwise, people won’t even like you on Facebook!” –Manuel Moran (Live Nation).

A lot goes on while these panels happen. There is a hall full of stands, a press room, a small stage for showcases, sponsorships and all the possible marketing and networking you can possibly imagine.

The invited artists even go and give interviews to the media, sign autographs to some fans.

You get tons of flyers with information, business cards from label companies, music houses, music studios, Managers, PR’s, Agents, Publishing companies, brands, non-profit organizations and from whoever thought would be worthy to let you know who they are.

You can’t imagine how many music demos laGUARP got. But you will know all about them, soon.

Here some images from that day:
Then, after wrapping up the last panel, we headed to the Prospect Park for the outdoors Show within Celebrate Brooklyn party. Performances by:

• Los Lobos
• Hello Seahorse!
• Zigmat
