My Morning Jacket participó en el álbum “The Music Is You: A Tribute To John Denver”, un tributo al músico estadounidense que saldrá al mercado el próxima 2 de abril

Este tributo contendrá 16 canciones y todo lo que se recaude por la venta de este trabajo será destinado a apoyar iniciativas ambientales en nombre de John Denver. Otras de las bandas que participaron fueron Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros y Dave Mathews.

Sobre la obra de John Denver, Jim James, cantante de My Morning Jacket declaró a NPR:

“Escuchar la voz de John Denver es como oir al viento por primera vez, siendo niño. Quieres seguir al viento y volverte uno con él.”
