The Shape Of Water es la película más nominada en los Critics’ Choice Awards

El Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) ha revelado el día de hoy sus nominaciones para la entrega #23 de los Critics’ Choice Awards, una ceremonia que reconoce a los mejores trabajos de la industria cinematográfica del año. 

300 críticos selectos de televisión, radio y portales web son convocados año tras año para votar por sus filmes favoritos. 

La ceremonia se llevará a cabo el 11 de enero del 2018 en el Barker Hanger de Santa Mónica y será televisada en todo el mundo. Históricamente estos premios se han convertido en los mejores predicadores de lo que sucederá en los Premios de la Academia. 

The Shape Of Water

The Shape Of Water, la última película del tapatío Guillermo del Toro, es la obra más nombrada en las nominaciones de este año con 14 menciones. Estas incluyen la de Mejor Película, Mejor Actriz, Mejor Actor de Reparto, Mejor Director y Mejor Guion, entre otras.

Call Me by Your Name de Luca Guadagnino, Dunkirk de Cristopher Nolan, Lady Bird de Greta Gerwig y The Post de Steven Spielberg tienen 8 nominaciones cada una. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri de Martin McDonagh les sigue de cerca con 7.

Dentro de las categorías musicales encontramos a Jonny Greenwood de Radiohead gracias a su Banda Sonora para Phantom Thread, la última película de Paul Thomas Anderson. Sufjan Stevens también se encuentra nominado por la canción ‘Mystery Of Love‘ de Call Me By Your Name.
